In all sectors of business and administration, from small businesses to global corporations, commercial clerks carry out demanding administrative tasks. The tasks vary depending on the sector. They draft letters, minutes and contracts, in their native language and in foreign languages, prepare reports, develop concepts, promote products, advise customers, negotiate agreements with suppliers, clarify matters, make purchases, plan, organise, manage the accounts, compile statistics, etc. They use computers for many of these tasks.
