Polymechanic EFZ
These exciting topics await you during your training as a polymechanic EFZ:
- Programming, setting up and operating machines
- Machining individual parts using lathes, milling machines, drilling machines and grinding machines
- Monitoring manufacturing processes
- Inspecting finished workpieces
Polymechanics implement new developments and produce high-tech workpieces. They programme their work on modern computer-controlled machines or work on conventional milling and turning machines. Based on design drawings, they determine the machining steps and programme complex workpieces. They inspect the finished workpieces using high-precision measuring and testing instruments. They assemble equipment, systems and machines or commission them.
