The principle of integrated cooling is consistently implemented in this program. UTILIS offers you, as the user, two options for cooling optimization.

Option 1

The first option is a complete solution consisting of a tool plate and clamping wedges, in which the coolant is guided through the plate and directly to the cutting edge via the clamping wedge.

This option is somewhat more sophisticated, but offers the major advantage that only a single coolant connection to the tool plate is required. Coolant distributors and connecting hoses are completely eliminated.

Option 2

The second option consists of replacing the existing clamping wedges on your current tool plate with multidec®-LUB clamping wedges, which also direct the coolant directly onto the cutting edge.

The advantage of this solution is that you can continue using your existing tool plate and only replace the original clamping wedges with multidec®-LUB clamping wedges.
